Amityville Ghost

Most people know the Amityville story told by George and Kathy Lutz. Man marries woman, moves the family into Amityville home, and within 28 days is forced to flee the home due to paranormal activity.

Before the Lutz purchased the home, it was owned by the DeFeo family. The eldest Defeo son, Ronald, murdered his entire family, in the home, while they slept.

There is a lot of doubt surrounding the Lutz story. It is believed they simply could not afford the home and made the story up to get out of the mortgage.

After the Lutz fled the home Ed and Lorraine Warren investigated the house. During the investigation, this photo was taken. It is believed to be the ghost of 9-year-old John Defeo.
