Newby Monk

Meet the "Newby Monk" from Newby Church in North Yorkshire, UK.

In 1963, Reverend K. F. Lord was alone while taking photos in Newby Church. When he developed the photos, he found that he wasn't as alone as he thought. Based on the measurements of the alter the figure is standing next to, it was around 9 ft. tall and appears to be looking right at the camera.

The church has no history of paranormal activity. The photo was believed to be a hoax by many. The photo has been analyzed several times and can not be proven to be fake.
