San Antonio Crossing

Updated: Mar 9, 2022

Legend has it that on a rainy day in the 1930s a school bus broke down in the middle of the railroad tracks in San Antonio, TX. Unable to move the bus or escape in time, a train hit the bus. The driver and several children were killed. People from all over come to visit San Antonio Crossing. Why? Because the ghost children will push your car across the tracks! Take your car to the tracks and put it into neutral, your car will be pushed up and over the tracks. Sprinkle some baby powder on your bumper, you will see handprints. Some have claimed to hear children laughing. On one visit to the tracks, the daughter of Andy and Debi Chesney snapped this photo of what looks like a little girl walking away from the tracks. While there is no record of a bus crash ever happening, the activity is very real. The only bus crash to match this discerption happened in Salt Lake City. It was reported in a San Antonio Newspaper and is believed to be where the legend comes from. Whether science (gravitational pull) or paranormal, something happens when you go to the tracks. In October of 2018, the city updated the tracks stating gravity would no longer push your car across the tracks. Reports say it didn't work and the activity continues.
